JORDAN, Jessie P. - Gone to her reward on February 12, 2011 at the age of 105. Beloved wife of the late Charles T. Loving mother of Jacqueline, Charles, Janet and Gail. Dear grandmother of 11, great- grandmother of 19; great-great- grandmother of 7. Predeceased by Edward. Will be fondly remembered by many. Visitation will be held at the HIGHLAND FUNERAL HOME - SCARBOROUGH CHAPEL, 3280 Sheppard Ave. E. (west of Warden), 416-773-0933, on Tuesday, February 15, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and again on Wednesday, February 16, 2011 from 9 a.m., until time of service at 10 a.m. at the Church in the Village - Shepherd Lodge, 3760 Sheppard Ave. E., Scarborough. Interment Christ Church Cemetery, Woodbridge. If desired, donations may be made to St. Stephen's Society and/or Shepherd Village Foundation.

I just saw Jessie's YouTube and she was very inspirational. I hope to meet her one day in Heaven and I hope to live on earth as long or longer than she did with a positive influence on society as she was.

I just saw Jessie's 105th birthday celebration on YouTube. What an inspiration and blessing she was to me. Her words of wisdom, heart of love and Christian spirit truly touched me and inspired me. She is with the Lord, but her ministry continues here on this Earth realm. God bless you, Jessie!

I saw Miss Jessie in a YouTube video when she was celebrating her 105th birthday. Such a lovely and charming lady. I'm sure she is dearly missed. I may not have met her in this life but I sure hope I do in the next. Rest in peace dear one.

I did not know Jessie personally, but heard a lot about her from my mother, who lives at Shepherd Village. I came across an interview with her and an article about her, and saw her birthday celebration on CTV last year.
What a wonderful example of a godly life well lived she was.
My deep condolences to your family. May God give you peace and comfort, and know that Jessie is now safe in the arms of her Lord.
