Glen WIDEMAN Obituary

WIDEMAN, Glen Morgan - Peacefully on May 27, 2012, surrounded by his loving family at the age of 74, Glen lost his courageous battle with cancer. Predeceased by his father Harry, mother Nellie and his sister Carol Marie. He leaves behind his beautiful wife Carol whom he loved for over 50 years. Loving Dad to daughters Kimmie and Julie and sons-in-law Mauro and Jose. Grandchildren Vanessa, Sandro, Bonnie, Rachel and Ryan will miss their beloved companion "Puppy" whom they adored beyond measure. Family and friends will be received at Glen Oaks Memorial Chapel and Reception Centre, 3164 Ninth Line (at Dundas St.), on Wednesday from 6-9 p.m. A Celebration of Glen's Life will be held on Thursday, May 31, 2012, in the chapel at 2:00 p.m. Online condolences can be made at www.glenoaks.ca In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The John MCDermott House Canada at www.mcdermotthousecanada.org or to The Seniors Life Enhancement Centre at www.slec.ca

Dear Carol, Kim and Julie,
Glen the Great was one of a kind and will certainly be missed by many. If you believe in forever, then life is just a one night stand. If there's a rock and roll heaven well you know they've got a hell of a band and now they've got a fabulous new member. So sorry for your loss.

Glen was such a kind, smart man with a great sense of Humour. I will miss him greatly as will all of us at Seniors Life Enhancement Centres.
