I had the pleasure of watching Bill play for the 67s, and referee him many times over the years in several alumni benefit games. A consumate gentleman, always with a smile for everyone, never too busy to stop & say hello.

I will fondly remember all of the good times we had together at Mutual Life. We had some great training sessions together and I can't help but smile when I think of the train ride home from Waterloo and we all travelled in first class. Bill certainly kept us entertained with his stories.

I first met your husband when I began working for him at Tim Horton's as a night time baker many years ago, when my daughter Tracey-Lynn Sheldrick also worked for Bill & yourself. He was a pleasure to work for and I had great respect for him. My family enjoyed the summer BBQ & day out at your family's cottage one summer, we made some great memories that we can hold onto. Bill was a very generous man and was always willing to help all of his friends and family. My family and I will miss his sense of humor and kind heart.
