BILL KITCHEN Former NHL Player and Ottawa 67's defenceman Tim Horton's Franchisee Unexpectedly at his cottage, Monday, July 30, 2012 at the age of 51. Beloved husband and best friend of Lesley Holmes. Proud and loving father of Nicholas, Emilie, Mackenzie and Rylee. Cherished son of Jean and the late William Kitchen. Dear brother of Mike (Jill), Kathy (Bob Wray) and Keith (Jenn Jones). Bill will be fondly remembered for his love of life, family, friends and community. He will be sadly missed by everyone he touched throughout his life. Lest we forget Bill's memory, the family is requesting that those attending share any stories, memories and photographs which will be added to a scrapbook for his children. Friends are invited to visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & MCGarry, 315 MCLeod Street (Ottawa) on Thursday, August 2nd from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. A Celebration of Bill's Life will be held Friday, August 3rd. I will fondly remember all of the good times we had together at Mutual Life. We had some great training sessions together and I can't help but smile when I think of the train ride home from Waterloo and we all travelled in first class. Bill certainly kept us entertained with his stories.

I first met your husband when I began working for him at Tim Horton's as a night time baker many years ago, when my daughter Tracey-Lynn Sheldrick also worked for Bill & yourself.
