WILLIAMSON, Margaret (Peggy) - 1939-2012 Peacefully at Southlake Regional Health Centre in Newmarket on Monday, November 5, 2012 after a long struggle with Lupus and Cancer. Peggy passed away with her family and friends at her side. Peg loved cottaging, gardening and her special pal (Beamer) who was always at her side. A traveller from her early days, she came to the U.S. by the "Queen Mary" with a very loving family as "Nanny- Companion." Returned to Scotland, married "Joe" in 1965 and then immigrated to Canada in 1966. Peg was featured by the "Kitchener Record" as the only or first British car parts manager in that area in the late 60s. Arrived in Newmarket in 1985, where many of her friends are. Many thanks to the doctors and nurses of Ward 6 at Southlake Hospital and special thanks to Dr. Baguio. Memorial service will be held at Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home, 157 Main Street S., Newmarket, on Friday, November 9, 2012 at 1 p.m. If desired, donations in memory of Peg can be made to the Southlake Foundation, Palliative Care Unit.
