EMSIG, Harold - On Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at Baycrest Hospital. Harold Emsig died peacefully in his 95th year. He was the beloved husband of the late Estelle and the late Sylvia Emsig. Loving father and father-in-law of Roz and Robert Holden, Karen Emsig, the late Kenny Emsig and Michael Borkowy, Susan Weinert, Gabriel Caplan, Lesley and Allan Kroach and Michelle and Michael Lewis. Devoted brother and brother-in-law of the late Annie and Manny Hilsenrath, the late Edna Lester, the late Kenneth Emsig, Lucille and the late Leonard Weinstock, the late Ruth and Harold Hansher, Clarice and the late Mickey Cooper, the late Teddy Wolch and the late Lydia Goldberg. Grandfather of 12 grandchildren and Great-Grandfather of 6 great- grandchildren. The family would like to thank Virginia, Harold's loving caregiver, for her never-ending compassion, love and outstanding care and wonderful quality of life she had given him these past four and a half years. A thank you is also extended to the Nurses and PSW's of Apotex 6 on Golden Lane who provided such excellent care. The service will be held at Holy Blossom Temple, 1950 Bathurst Street (south of Eglinton Avenue West) on Thursday, November 8, 2012, at 10:30 a.m. Interment at Holy Blossom Memorial Park on Brimley Road (south of St. Clair Avenue East). Shiva until Sunday evening at 1430 Yonge Street, No. 508, Toronto. Shiva visits Thursday until 9:00 p.m., Friday 12:00 noon to 4:00 p.m., Saturday 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Sunday 12:00 noon to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., evening services Thursday and Sunday at 8:00 p.m. (Parking only available at the Public Parking lot on Pleasant Blvd.).
