HARBOUR, Carolyn - It is with tender and heavy hearts that the centre of our lives, Carolyn, has passed away after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was the centre of the universe in the life of her husband and best friend Stephen and her greatest accomplishments, her children Paul, Michael and Jonathan. Although not a celebrity or famous person, she was a star in her own right. Movies, music, wine, gardening and her love affair with cooking made her one of a kind. Endless hours were spent in her "pride and joy" backyard overlooking her various gardens and beautiful pool. Sometimes entertaining but mostly enjoying her various gardens and watching her precious grandchildren swimming the day away. Some of her favourite times were spent during the holidays, enjoying her fantastic recipes and incredible desserts filled with stories and laughter. A cremation and celebration of life will be held at St. John's Crematorium at 737 Dundas Street East, on Tuesday, November 27th at 9:30 a.m. A special thanks goes out to the loving staff at the Dorothy Ley Hospice. To honour this incredible lady, donations will be accepted to the Dorothy Ley Hospice at 220 Sherway Drive, Toronto, Ontario M9C 0A7.
