ROBERT JOHN WINDSOR Passed away peacefully at the Markham-Stouffville Hospital on November 25, 2012 at the age of 76. Bob was born, raised and lived his life in Ballantrae, son of the late Laura and Robert Windsor of Lakeshore Road. Bob is survived by his sister Ruth Wilson (nee Windsor), as well as his seven children: Mike Windsor and his partner Ronda Turner, Elayne Windsor and her partner Pat Temple, Scott Windsor, Lisa Windsor, Nelson Windsor, Andrew and his partner Stephanie Babb, James and Erin Windsor. Bob was the proud grandfather to Jennifer, Evelyn, Olivia and Dominic Windsor. Bob was a gentleman, a generous person of strong character. He was a hard worker whose knowledge and skill was much admired by his fellow workers at D. Crupi and Sons, where he worked as the shop manager for 37 years. Bob was a skilled woodworker and metal worker. He had a passion for gardening, tree planting and a great love for animals. He is predeceased by his much loved Labrador Retriever Benny. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Toronto and GTA OSPCA in Bob's name are welcomed. The family wishes to extend their thanks to the staff at the Markham-Stouffville Hospital for their compassion and care. There will be a celebration of Bob's life at the Stouffville Legion, (150 Mostar Street) on Sunday, December 9, 2012 at 2:00 p.m.
