CLAYSON, Jean (Joynt) - October 8, 1922 - November 28, 2012 Jean passed away at Bradford Valley Long Term Care after a lengthy illness. Jean is predeceased by her husband Warren and brother Laird Joynt. Remembering her are daughter Janet, son Robert (Debby), grandsons Justin, Christopher (Melissa) and great-granddaughter Lauryn. Jean was a graduate of the University of Toronto, Victoria College (class of 1945). She was an active member of many clubs and organizations in her life. Her passions were golf and bridge and she was a member of St. George's Golf and Country Club for over 40 years. Jean was active in the Etobicoke branch of the University Women's Club enjoying the friendships found with her bridge and gourmet group friends. Jean was an avid reader and was a member of the Humber Valley Book Club for over 50 years. Cremation has already taken place. A Remembrance of Jean's Life will be held Thursday, December 20 from 2-4 p.m. at St. George's Golf and Country Club, 1668 Islington Avenue, Etobicoke, Ontario. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the .
