HAMMOND, Carolyn Faye (nee Faulkner) - June 15, 1945 - December 16, 2012 Passed away peacefully after a short battle with cancer. Predeceased by her loving husband Edward Hammond, parents Herbert and Mary as well as her brothers Basil, Morris and sister Marlene. Lovingly remembered by her son Shawn and his wife Meghan, brother Floyd and wife Connie, brother Dalton and wife Pat, and sister-in-law Muriel. Also survived by in-laws Wayne and wife Mary, Gloria and husband Kip, Kathleen and husband John, all her nieces and nephews and their children as well as the many beloved friends she made over the years. Faye loved life and loved to smile on a daily basis. A Service of Remembrance will be held at the Turner & Porter "Neweduk-Erin Mills" Chapel, 1981 Dundas St. W., Mississauga (east of Erin Mills Pkwy.) on Thursday, December 20, 2012 at 4:30 p.m. with visitation beginning at 3:30 p.m. For those who wish, memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society of Peel would be greatly appreciated.
