STEVENS, Thomas Clyde - Clyde was born on November 23, 1943 in Toronto. He died peacefully with his family at his side, on December 20, 2012 from complications with Parkinson's. Beloved husband and best friend for 46 years to Gail (nee Gibson). Loving father to Rob (Corrie) and Carrie. Adored Grampa to Connor and Kayley. "Little" brother to Blake (Sue) and Brenda (Winston). Predeceased by parents (Tom and Beatrice). Fun uncle and brother- in-law, and good friend to many, including "the gang" from Lawrence Park Collegiate. Of the many challenges Clyde faced as his disease progressed, one of the most frustrating was his inability to continue to practise his electronics expertise. He did, however, retain his sense of humour and never lost his passion for music of all kinds. He still loved to sit back and enjoy the solace he got from his favourite sounds resonating around the house. He also loved the sun and warmth, and it was extremely fortunate that he and Gail were able to enjoy two weeks in the Florida sunshine in early November, in the company of their lifelong friends - Jacquie and Don Lowe. In the spring of 2013, a Celebration of Clyde's life will be held at Turtle Creek Golf Course where he spent many happy hours, and of which he was so proud. In lieu of flowers, donations in Clyde's name can be made to the Parkinson Society of Canada or Hospice Wellington, Guelph.
