PYUNG (PETER) KIM Passed away peacefully with his family surrounding him early in the morning of December 26, 2012, at the age of 69. Pyung is survived and missed by his beloved wife of 44 years, Sun Hui. Lovingly remembered by his daughter Julie and her husband Min Yoo. Devoted father to his son Howard and his wife Sara Kim. Proud and adoring grandfather to Olivia, Cassandra, Benjamin, Amanda and Alexander. Dear brother of Hyo and his wife Kyung Yoon Kim. Loving uncle to Hugh and Sandy Kim, Yoon and Douglas Glorie and their families. His sisters and their families in South Korea also survive Pyung. Pyung was a talented artist, with a kind and loving heart. He loved the outdoors, gardening, woodworking and his three grand-dogs, Happy, Sadie and Kobe. Pyung will always be remembered for his devotion to his family, his abounding love for his grandchildren and his beautiful smile. He will be missed but will be forever in our hearts. Our family would like to thank Dr. Caroline MCAllister of Brooklin, ON, for her dedication, compassion and commitment to supporting Pyung. We would also like to thank our support team of Vijay Singh, RN, Caroline Campbell, PSW and Marek Kutrowski, PSW, for their unending kindness, support and friendship. Friends may call at MOUNT LAWN RECEPTION CENTRE, 21 Garrard Rd., Whitby (North of Hwy. 2), 905-443-3376, for visitation on Friday, December 28, 2012 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, December 29th, in our Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Interment Mount Lawn Memorial Gardens.
