Barry JONES Obituary

JONES, Barry Leslie - With great sadness we announce the passing of Barry Leslie Jones, age 70, on January 11, 2013 after a battle with Glioblastoma Multiforme grade IV Brain Cancer, with his family by his side. Beloved husband to Karen for almost 48 years. Loving father to Kim and her husband Mark Bradley, Tammi Jones and Jake Hughes, and his daughter Taylor. Proud and loving Poppa to Michael Bradley. Uncle to Sean and Kevin Kennedy and his wife Heather. He was a member of Caledonia Lodge A.F. & A.M. No. 637, a dedicated Mason and Shriner. Visitation and funeral will take place at York Cemetery & Visitation Centre, 160 Beecroft Rd., North York (north of Sheppard Ave., west of Yonge St., 416-221-3404) on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. with a Masonic Service at 8:00 p.m. and the funeral on Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. Thank you to the staff on the K1C Palliative Care Unit at Sunnybrook Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations in Barry's memory would be appreciated and can be made to the Sunnybrook Foundation Brain Sciences Program or the Shriners Hospitals for Children.
