We are so sorry to hear of Mr. Wilson's passing. He was a good friend of both Mum and Dad, participating as an MC at our wedding, always at Dad's side, for church events like the time I found them designing a disco ball with broken shards of mirror and he was even there talking Dad through his first time changing his granddaughter's diaper. (They put it on the wrong way which they chuckled about for years).
In full regalia, Roy heralded in our mother's 80th birthday with cries of "Here ye, Here ye..." and I haven't seen Mum as happy as she was that day with all that attention. Mr. Wilson you will always be remembered in our hearts.

Kay and Family,

There are no words to express how sorry I am to lose my dear friend. We have shared many good times together and loads of laughs. I'm sure he and Dave are playing a duet of "Sentimental Journey" right now! Kay, to you and Roy, thanks for the memories.

Love Jean

He was a jolly soul. My dad and mom have met him in the OPC and it was a blessing to have him. He was funny and I remember the joke when my dad asked "Are you singing a solo?" And Roy answered "Yes. So low that you can't here me!" He also tickled me that I really loved and he was always a happy man.

I met Roy for the first time a few years ago - we lived not far from each other in Wasaga Beach. He stopped me as I was walking my dog along the road, exclaiming "It has been so long since I have seen an Airedale Terrier! He is so well behaved!" I couldn't help but say "Yes but you haven't met him when he's off leash!" He got a chuckle out of that, knowing they can be rather independent dogs. He was a lovely man and I enjoyed listening to him cry the news of our town. He will be missed by many.
