MARY KLIMEK After a long battle with Alzheimer's, Mary passed away peacefully at the Wesburn Manor on the evening of Friday, February 22, 2013. Mary was born in Teplicani, Czechoslovakia on January 28, 1925 to proud parents, Michael and Mary Trojchak. She came to Canada in February, 1936 and became a proud citizen of Canada in 1951. Mary married John Klimek in July, 1944 and delighted in the birth of two sons. Mary enjoyed life and loved to take care of people. This was evident in her work choices, among them being a hostess at the Skyline Hotel, a hostess at the Weston Golf and Country Club and a waitress at the old Range Tavern. Mary is survived by her two boys, Michael and Robert (Bob). She predeceased by her husband, John as well as her brother Jim (and wife, Kay) Trojchak of Cranbrook, British Columbia. The family would like to thank the nursing and caregiving staff at Wesburn Manor (2nd Floor, Silverthorne Way), for all their compassion and care in looking after Mary. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter "Butler" Chapel, 4933 Dundas St. W., Toronto (between Islington and Kipling Aves.), on Thursday, February 28, 2013. Funeral service to be held in the Chapel on Friday at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery, 6933 Tomken Rd. (at Derry Rd.), Mississauga.
