KATHRYN LEONARD Kathryn Leonard passed away peacefully at home on February 25, 2013 at the age of 32, surrounded by family and comforted by friends. Beloved daughter of Ken and Lyn Leonard and sister of Kim, she leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who all loved her dearly. Kathryn dedicated her life to teaching, mentoring and helping others. She wanted her "little sisters" to know how much she loved them. Kathryn worked for the Toronto Catholic District School Board and had the "perfect job" teaching a specialized elementary class through the Section 23 program. Co-founder of StepStones For Youth, Kathryn loved camp and wanted to make a difference in people's lives by creating this charitable organization. Our thoughts at this time are shared with those who will miss her. We'd like to thank everyone for their ongoing love and support. The family is in the process of setting up a memorial fund which will honour Kathryn's spirit and her lifetime effort of giving back to others. Information on donations to her memorial fund, in lieu of flowers, will be available at her memorial service, details of which will follow at a later date.
