SHAWN MACINTOSH A much-loved husband, father, son and brother. Shawn MACIntosh of Oakville, passed away peacefully after a brief battle with cancer on Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at age 50. Beloved husband and best friend of Susan for 26 years, loving father of Kaitlyn and Grant. Cherished son of Joan and the late Jack MACIntosh. Dear brother of Rick (Lil) and Jo-anne (Rob Travassos). Special uncle to Jordan, Taylor, Jack, Olivia and Matthew. He will be missed by his mother-in-law Betty Garrie and brothers-in-law David, Scott (Debbie), Richard (Lisa) and their families. Remembered by Uncle Kevin (Lynn). Shawn was a professional carpenter for many years until he returned to school to become a high school teacher. Always a big kid at heart, he found his passion in teaching and loved interacting with his students. He was happiest coaching hockey or teaching. He will be missed by his uncles, aunts and many cousins, his colleagues and students at St. Marcellinus Secondary School and many friends and neighbours. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Peel Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St. (Hwy. 10, N. of QEW), from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday and from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Friday. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Christopher's Catholic Church, 1171 Clarkson Rd. N., Mississauga, on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. The family will be setting up a bursary in Shawn's name at St. Marcellinus Secondary School. Donations to "Shawn D.
