ACKROYD, Bradford Roy - Of Campbell River, British Columbia passed away suddenly at home on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at the age of 59. Brad was born in Vancouver, and was raised in Mississauga, Ontario and attended Lorne Park Secondary School and the University of Toronto. He was a dedicated, proud and loving father to Devon (Lisa) and Colin (Alison). He enjoyed a successful career as a Sales Professional with ADP Dealer Services and most recently with Island Business Solutions in Victoria, British Columbia. Throughout his life he enjoyed golf, reading, skiing and was a huge influence on the success of his sons during their swimming careers. His advice in all aspects of life was always welcomed by Devon and Colin, who will miss him dearly. He is predeceased by his father, Roy and survived by his mother, Joan and siblings, Steve (Wendy), Nannette (Peter) and Kevin, as well as, his nephews, David, Michael and Daniel and niece, Emily. He will be forever remembered by his unborn grandchild due in July. A Memorial Service will be celebrated at the Glen Oaks Memorial Chapel and Reception Centre, 3164 9th Line, Oakville (403/Dundas), 905-257-8822, on Thursday, April 11th at 3:00 p.m., friends will be received 1 hour prior, reception to follow.
