Reginald James WALLACE

WALLACE, Reginald James - Born in Toronto on October 6, 1945 and passed away in Burlington on May 10, 2013 at the age of 67. Son of the late James and Norma Elizabeth Wallace. Beloved husband and soul mate to his wife Delores Christine (nee Sarty), whom he married on June 12, 1971. Cherished father of Robert James. Lovingly remembered by his cousin Bruce Wallace and family, Marie Wilson and the late Robert (Bob) Eric Wilson, Lawrence and Mary Sarty, Paul and Kathleen Sarty and their families. Reg worked in the carwash business for 33 years with Esso and Shell in Mississauga, S.M.S. Petroleum Ltd. (Suncor Sunoco Group) in Burlington and Oakville, and Wash Works in Hamilton. He was well known for his strong dedication to his family and friends, his love of people, and his involvement in the community. While at Sunoco he participated with B.O.M.B.A. (baseball), B.M.L.H.A. (hockey), the United Way of Oakville, Masonic Lodge Burlington, I.O.F., and Burlington Chamber of Commerce. Reg received much special recognition being named Consumer Choice winner and received many awards for overall best site in Sunoco's "Drive for Excellence". Cremation has taken place. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Thursday May 16, 2013 from 12 noon, until the Celebration of Life at 1 p.m. Reception to follow.
