JOHN BOSWORTH John passed away peacefully in his sleep at the cabin on June 2, 2013 at 89 years of age (born August 19, 1923) under the loving care of his partner Shirley Wornig. John was predeceased by his wife Joan, brothers Bill and Norm and sister Barbara Avery, survived by his sister Margaret-Ann Aquilina of Collingwood. Beloved father of John Jr. (Brenda), Mark and his wife Marjorie, and Susan Kernot (Rick). Proud grandfather of Justin and Candice Kernot, and Cheryl Langevin. John referred to himself as a potato farmer. He was a shrewd business man venturing into the restaurant business at Ontario Place, served on the board of directors of the Ontario Jockey Club, Arbitrator for the government with reference to crop insurance claims. His personal passion was horse racing. He was still breeding, raising and racing trotters up to his death. When not on the farm John would snow ski, boat, or travel the world. John wished to be cremated and not have a public funeral service. He did want a celebration to be announced and held at a later date. If desired, donations can be made to the Markham Stouffville Hospital. Online condolences may be made at www.roadhouseandrose.com
