IT is with sadness that I heard of Brian's passing. I worked with him for years. He was greatly respected in Canada and internatially for his contribution to the welfare of refugees. Joanna Bedard

I am so sorry to hear of Brian's death. I babysat him and Geoff and baby Stuart at the cottage in 1952 (I think)and have very fond memories of all the family. David and Pearl were like second parents to me that summer.
My thoughts and prayers are with the family at this sad time. Sincerely,
Patricia MacLeod

It's with great sadness that I sign Brian's Guest Book. I worked for him during the nineties at the Ontario Ministry of the Attorney General, during which time we experienced many ups and downs. I learned much from Brian, and was happy to come to work in his office every day. He had many wonderful stories, from his days in London, England to his love of family in Toronto. I know he will be missed by all who knew him.

A true gentleman, bright, compassionate. It was an honour to meet Brian, appear before him, and know him. My sincere sympathies to his family. He lived a rich and meaningful life.
