ROBERTS, Bruce Anthony - Born February 12, 1957, Bruce died on July 6, 2013, age 56. He will be forever missed by his mother Carol-Lee Knight Roberts, sister Adair Roberts, brother-in-law Jared Landry and most adored nephews Duncan and James Landry. Bruce was also much loved and will be missed by his many aunts, uncles and cousins. Bruce was predeceased by his father, George. Bruce will always be remembered for his twinkling eyes, mischievous grin and his ready and hearty laugh. Bruce worked exceptionally hard at whatever job he did and was always ready and willing to lend a hand to anyone who needed it. He adored sports - playing, watching and coaching - and we are grateful that his nephews experienced some of his expert goaltending tutelage. Bruce was an amazing golfer, loved to talk politics, gave a heck of a speech and upon his father's passing, took over his Christmas "Lucky Tub" responsibilities with both the gravity and delight that the task required. He will be so, so missed. We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the physicians and staff of the Guelph Community Health Centre who provided Bruce with so much care and support over the years. Cremation has taken place. A get-together to celebrate Bruce's life will be held on Friday, July 19, 2013 from 1:00-3:00 p.m. (brief remarks at 2:00 p.m.) at MCLean House, The Estates of Sunnybrook, 2075 Bayview Ave., Toronto. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Stonehenge Therapeutic Community would be appreciated. (
