Marg THOMAS

THOMAS, Marg - Born December 17, 1910 in Palmerston, Ontario. Passed away peacefully in Mississauga in her 103rd year on August 16, 2013. Marg is survived by her children Lois Gurowka (Joe) and Larry Thomas (Mary); her grandchildren Stephen Spanton, Kelly Spanton, Bruce Spanton (Deb), Sean Spanton (Barb), Brett Thomas (Michelle), Scott Thomas, Kelly Thomas, Nikki Thomas (Daisy), Jim Gurowka (Liz), Kim Moennick (Mitch), Melanie Rogers (Justin) and Melissa Reid, as well as her 14 great-grandchildren. Marg is predeceased by her husband, A.R. Buck Thomas. Marg worked in Mimico for many years, until she was 75 years of age, for Dr. Frank MCKenna and Dr. Joe Madigan. Friends will be received at the G.H. Hogle Funeral Home, 63 Mimico Avenue, Etobicoke on Wednesday, August 21st at 10:30 a.m. to be followed by a service at 11:30 a.m. Donations in Marg's memory may be made to the CNIB or Wesley Mimico United Church.
