Chris was always gentle and understanding with his friends. It did not matter who you were, he'd make you feel important in some way. Though we have not talked in years, he is fondly remembered by me and Sandy. My thoughts are with his loved ones.

It's been literally a lifetime since I last saw Chris or the rest of the Cuddy family. Jeff and I were friends and played hockey together but Chis tended to treat Jeff's friends like a friend of his own too. The 3 of us deinitely had some laughs back in the day. Very sad to hear this. Condolences and best wishes to Jeff, Brian and the rest of your family. RIP Chris.

To the Cuddy Family, Sherri and Liam...I can't tell you how sorry and shocked I was to read of Chris's passing. What a wonderful person he was and I feel so honoured to have shared many conversations with him during his time with the Town of Saugeen Shores. He was always cheerful and bubbly and spoke so highly of his son Liam and wife Sherri. You certainly are missed Chris and often thought about. I know that you will be around in spirit and if we are lucky, you'll be around as our guardian angel. I will never forget you!

Sherri and Liam, know that your husband and dad always spoke of you with such pride, enthusiasm, and love. I was a liveaboard at one of his first marina management positions at marina quay west, then at Outer Harbour, and he was a good, thoughtful man who we appreciated. I'm sure he was always putting in his best positive energy he could muster for his family. Losing Chris is a real loss. Some people see sense and make it happen...that's Chris. My condolences. From Burbuja, Solange II, Rainbow Chaser, and now Arctic Wolf. Glad we caught up on Liam hockey at Helmut's hurrah. Get the ice and catch a line and deal with a crazy boater.

Chris, we became friends at the old port of Elgin, and shared some life together, be it all so brief, I will miss our chats and your optimism, it is for sure we are only lent to this world for a short time , then Eternity begins as the next step, my heartfelt compassion and love for your family, great is their loss.

I worked with Chris at Port Elgin Harbour last season. It truly is amazing how such a short period of time with Chris has made such an incredible impact on me. I am almost 20 years older than Chris, and our discussions ranged as friends, co workers, and at times I felt paternal with Chris. He spoke with great respect for his father and really enjoyed his discussions with his dad. His enthusiasm and joy when he spoke of Liam was fabulous! Being a father of 4 children, we shared that incredible feeling. Chris and I talked on the phone about a week before he passed away, we planned to get together this summer after his "life settled down". May he RIP, and gain the freedom he justly deserves.
Chris told me that my daughter Jessica, and I were "a breath of fresh air" in his world last summer, for that, she and I are truly honoured.

I met Chris last year when I docked my boat in Port Elgin and he was the harbour master there He was such an amazing guy, I looked forward to seeing him come down to our boat the days he was at work. He often talked about his wife and little son. And when he did he had a sparkle in his eye. I am in shock that Chris has passed on. You where an amazing guy who did so much for us and made sure we where happy on our boat dock. My sympathy goes out to his wife, son, family and friends. RIP Chris. I know we now have a new guardian angel watching over us. You will be missed.

Terribly sorry to hear about Chris. Way too young. Reminisced with my parents this afternoon about playing lacrosse and a lot of road hockey at Cuddys' house when we were best friends as kids. Although I haven't seen you in years it's very sad news to hear of your passing. (sorry to hear about Mrs. Cuddy as well). So our deepest condolences go out to you and the entire Cuddy family from the entire Simioni family.
