ETKIN, Prof. Bernard - On Thursday, June 26, 2014 at Baycrest. Beloved husband of the late Maya. Cherished son of the late Harry and Mary Etkin. Loving father and father-in-law of Carol Elizabeth, David and Deborah. Dear brother of the late Fanny, Minnie, Dora and Freda. Devoted grandpa of Jon and Stephanie. Adored uncle of many nieces and nephews. Member of the Order of Canada and The Royal Society of Canada. Renowned Academic, Scientist, Author and Inventor. Former Dean of Engineering, University of Toronto. Services were held at Benjamin's Park Memorial Chapel on Sunday, June 29, 2014. Memorial donations may be made to the Daily Bread Food Bank, 416-203-0050.
