ANDREW BURT Obituary

ANDREW BURT Died suddenly in his 51st year in Toronto. Andrew was the beloved son of Pauline and brother of Leslie (Bob) Manary, dedicated and much loved "Unc" of Meghan and Douglas Manary all of North Bay. Predeceased by his father Bill (2001) and his sister Shelley (1985). Born in Moncton, New Brunswick, Andrew graduated from Canadore College (Computer Programming) in 1985 and then moved to Toronto where he held various jobs, most recently at Canada Revenue. Andrew was a lifelong Habs and Expos fan. He will be remembered for his dry (sometimes bizarre) sense of humour and his ability to find and give just the "right" card for any occasion. The Burt family will receive friends at the Martyn Funeral Home, 464 Wyld Street, North Bay, Ontario, 705-472-8810, on Monday, January 19, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Omond United Church on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at 11 a.m. Burial will take place at Forest Lawn Cemetery. If desired, donations to the North Bay Regional Health Centre Diabetes Education Centre will be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy. Online condolences at www.martynfh.com

I can not express my grief ,
Andrew and I are good , good, good , close friends . I am in shock so suddenly and unexpected .
He and I always talked sports and stocks over a coffee , afterwork and / or weekends , he would always bug me about the maple leafs and I would bug him about the Habs , but one thing we had in common we both are fans of the raptors and blue jays .
Andrew I'll never forget you
And my condolences to all his family and friends in North Bay.

Andrew will be sorely missed at work. It was a pleasure to work alongside him as he was always so cheerful and funny. Such a sad loss. My condolences to his family and friends.

May God hold your hands during this time of sadness. May you find strength in knowing that Andrew is at rest. May God wipe your tears and give you his peace that surpasses all understanding

I last saw Andrew on Saturday, January 10th; we ran into each other at a supermarket - we lived about 2 miles away from each other. He was a fine and decent person and I will miss him; but he has graduated from this world and is in a much better place now. It is good to grieve our loss, but we should all have confidence that we will see Andrew again; we just have to complete the tasks of this lifetime first.

The Curylo family first met Andrew on July 6, 1971 when he visited our dairy farm in Chilliwack, British Columbia. Pauline and Bill had taken their 3 children, Leslie, Shelly and Andrew, on a camping trip across Canada to visit their Grandmother, Margaret Burt, and her friend Ada Morgan. During that visit they all spent a wonderful day at our farm and we even had a hayride to a picnic site. Today we remember the happy times and share our precious memories of Andrew.
Our deepest sympathy,
Ed and Rose Marie, Alex, Daniel and his children, Alima and Gemedi Curylo, Olympia, Washington

The Parsons family is deeply saddened to hear of Andrew's passing. I was recently thinking of Andrew when planning our wedding invitations. I have fond memories of spending time with Andrew at family gatherings and was looking forward to seeing him again soon. We send our love and condolences.
