Lech was my boss in the Canadian Public Service for many years. I did not see him as a "boss" but as a gentle, kind person who was very dedicated to his family. I am glad that I responded to my intuition two years ago and paid him and his wife Olenka a couple of visits after not having seen him for more than 20 years. He gave me a copy of his memoirs of his service in the Polish underground army. I have great respect for him especially after reading his book. He endured so much. May his blessed soul rest in peace forever. Theresa Gomes (aka Theresa Singh).

We haven't known Lech, till two years ago.He touched our hearts, with his
gentelness and knowledge. I am the daughter of AK soldier, and the nice of
my father's family members, who fought
in Warsaw Uprising, and whom Lech knew
very well and wrote about their heroism
in his book "Kotwica Herbem Wybranym".
Ever since he became very close to our
heart. We are deeply sorry about His
passing. The part of the history and
memoires are gone with him.
