Please accept my sincere condolences to your wonderful husband passed away, Judith. We have been know to each other for the last 11 years. You and Stanley are always one of my good customers. He is always joyful, humorous, talkative and fond of singing. He always carries a smile on his face whenever he comes to see me either to adjust his eyeglasses or to purchase a new pair or just to have a chat. I miss him but will never forget him!

A lot of pleasant memories of Uncle Stan when the family lived in Hamilton. He was always so full of humour and certainly kept a party going. I was so pleased to have him sing at our wedding 40 years ago. Thought and condolences to the family and friends.

So glad to have known Stan. He is a big part of our ongoing love of all things G&S. His love of singing and stage was infectious and he loved to pass on his experiences and knowledge. We always enjoyed his mischievous nature. His voice will be missed. Sincere condolences to Judith and family. Dave & Lynn Rowley

Fond memories of Uncle Stan and his wonderful sense of humour. I could never feel down when I was with him. He was empathetic too and had no time for pomposity or big egos! He dived into all his projects with great enthusiasm. Like so many of us, I loved to hear him sing, especially the old Scottish songs, and Stan loved to sing. Music was a big part of his life. He had a beautiful voice. I remember when he first came to visit when I was a little girl. My mom told my sisters and I that if Stan should sing, we were not allowed to laugh! We were mischievous in those days and I know mom wanted his visit to go smoothly, but when someone tells you not to think of an elephant, nothing in the world can get that thought out of your mind. Sure enough, when Stan sang, we laughed and consequently we were sent to our bedroom!
Fast forward to when we first arrived in Canada as new immigrants, Stan and Cath took us in and made us so welcome. I will never forget their kindness to two almost penniless immigrants. The laughs in the household abounded, something I was not quite used to.
I will never forget you, dear Stan, and all the fun times we had when we visited. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Judy, Rob, Marlene and all the family.
Much love,
Shona and Ian
