VERNA MAE WEEKS 1919 - 2016 With great sadness, Verna's family wishes to announce her passing on March 16, 2016 at St. Joseph's Villa. Beloved wife for 58 years of Roy Weeks (predeceased), cherished mother of Connie (John) and Denison (Bonnie) and adored grandmother of Tania (John), Michael (Alana) and Jamie (Jennifer). Loving great- grandmother to Samantha, Katelyn, Eliora, Dexter, Emma and William. She is survived by her sister Lois and her many friends including Stephanie Clarke, Lillian Plumb and Winnie Russell. Baba was a storyteller and we are very blessed to have her seven wonderful books authored with the help of Roy. These books are a tribute to her exceptional life growing up in Mississauga. Cremation has taken place. A service will be held on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at Skinner & Middlebrook Ltd. Funeral Home (128 Lakeshore Rd. E., Mississauga, 1 block west of Hurontario St.), at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Joseph's Villa in Dundas, ON or any Royal Canadian Legion Branch.
