Victor SOLNICKI Obituary

SOLNICKI, Victor - Victor Solnicki passed away peacefully on September 14, 2016, at St. Michael's Hospital in Toronto. He was the beloved husband of Brigitte Berman, the loved father of Daniel and Lara and dear to his brother Louis. Victor was a much loved friend to many, especially the Bolotta and the Bergen family and a highly respected member of the Toronto Film and Television Community. We just recently completed another labour of love together, the film "The River of My Dreams" which world premiered a TIFF on the day of his passing. May this same river bring us together again... Some of Victor's other films were "Hugh Hefner: Playboy, Activist and Rebel", "Such A Long Journey", "Videodrome", "Scanners", "The Brood", "The Arrow", "Peter Ustinov's Russia", "Witness to Yesterday" and many more over the span of four decades. Victor was and will always be - my love, my light and my inspiration. Thank you, my darling, for the love you gave to me and to so many! There will be a memorial held to honour Victor, details to follow.
