GORDON CRAWFORD Obituary

GORDON STUART CRAWFORD Born December 20, 1929 in Glasgow, Scotland, died peacefully in Sunnybrook Palliative Care wing, Toronto, on October 8, 2016. A dedicated family man, he was big brother to Ron (Joy) of Vancouver, BC, loving husband of Catherine (nee Patterson) for over 58 years, devoted and proud father of John and Glen and a popular uncle to many nieces and nephews. Ridley College class of 1949 and longtime employee of Crown Life Insurance Company. A well known expert on show jumping, an avid sailor, Jaguar car enthusiast, dedicated cricket player and coach. Our family thanks Sunnybrook Hospital for their compassionate care. Private cremation.

Dear Cathy.....I was just reading the G and .M.....I'm so sorry that you have lost Gord after 58 years of marriage....he was always fun and so positive....we used to walk Bloor St .at noon hour and I remember him at the Sutton Horse Show....fond memories!
