A little smiling angel taken way too soon. Though we never got to meet Emmet in person his smiling radiant pictures said it all... What a gift he was... And how blessed he was to have two special parents to allow him to explore and experience so much in his brief life....and whose extended family loved him so much. Emmet was such a happy ray of sunshine. He was so brave and clearly he had a kind heart like his mom. I am so deeply sorry for his passing. He will be missed dearly and god has taken him way too soon.
I am so thankful that our twin girls got to meet and be baptized with Emmett in November of last year. Emmett please give my son Oliver a kiss for me when you see him in the heavens above. Give your parents strength to endure this roller coaster of emotion. Helen and Jeff please be kind to yourself and take all the time you need to grieve. There is no time limit, you will never get over it but you willl move forward and he will be in your heart forever. I am so sorry for your pain. Emmett we will miss you xoxo

You will be missed sweet Emmet. I will hold on to the memory of you using your walker around the treatment room at the clinic, saying hi to the cats and dogs that happened to be in that day. Will remember snuggling you as you visited he clinic with your Mommy and our little stroll up to bloomers in your stroller when you were a little baby, where you really wanted to by your mommy a cupcake. I think I only got to meet Emmet one time at Halloween when Helen was a chef and Emmet was the lobster :) but everyone on the street talks about what a lovely, smiley little kid he was. Emmet will definitely be remembered on Montrose and we are all sending you so much support as you grieve, Helen and Jeff.

Although I never got to meet the sweet Emmet in person, seeing his life through the eyes of his parents on facebook and stories told by his grandparents who loved him so dearly, I can tell he was an incredible spirit.
