I met Ron when I was working as a wardrobe daily on the set of The Arrow in Winnipeg in 1996. At the post wrap party, he signed my souvenir photo with a nod to Camp Borden, where I lived as a youngster in the early fifties. Great guy!

He is a amazing Comedian, I loved watching his stand up comedies on TV, me and my husband would watch them every time we came across them on Netflix or Hulu or regular TV. I wished I could have seen him in person. Here it is 2021 and I am jus now finding out he passed away, I honestly didn't believe it and still dont, it's very sad too hear.. Please give my condolences to his family and relatives..

I met Ron in the early 80's when I was living in Toronto. We met through my brother and some mutual friends and we dated for awhile. He was a working actor, not yet as busy as he became later. But he had such a passion for the work, an indomitable spirt, and unflagging optimism, I knew that he would be successful. I was so saddened to read recently of his passing. He leaves a great legacy of work and, from what I saw in the messages, many friends and a loving son. My condolences to his family and friends.

Saw Ron in the play High Times at the NAC and after reading his bio, showed up at his dressing room door telling him I had also lived in Camp Borden. He welcomed me in, and we reminisced like mad. And when I look at my 1958 kindergarten class picture, I'm pretty sure that's Ron White standing behind me. What a thrill. Seeing Ron's obituary tonight was such a sad coincidence with my just having casually googled his name... Belated sympathy. Well done, Ron White!

Just watching a cowboy movie, and thought of Ron. Looked him up only to find his obituary.
I remember fondly your engagement party for Brian and I in Toronto.
I also remember how Ron and Don made the trip to Nanaimo when Brian was in hospital.
So sorry for your loss Lisa and Jesse.

Ron, Ann, Sue, Lydia, Richard and a few others were my close circle of friends through high school at NACI. Almost 50 years ago, we played, danced, joked, talked, explored, enjoyed music and grew up together. Ron was always upbeat, smiling and positive. I have happy memories of Ron and those days. RIP my old friend.

So sad to hear this. Ron and I met in junior high school. He always had the lead in the school plays. Good singer as well. He and Donny and our group were tight for a few years, getting into all kinds of trouble. We lost touch when they moved. Then we ran into each other at The Goof in Kew Beach in 1997. Shared a love of Bob Dylan as well. I have always been proud of the career he had. He was a good one.
