Anne (Phelan) DeCoteau
December 4, 1938 - November 30, 1992
It has been 20 long years since you left us after fighting a determined battle against breast cancer. I constantly remember you and marvel at the selfless love and dedication that you gave to me and the children during our 31 years of wonderful marriage. Your imprint has certainly been placed on the children as they are all professionally successful, happily married and wonderful parents. We have nine grandchildren, all of whom have a lot of you in them. I know that you would be extremely proud of them all.
Your loving husband, Earle
"Mom touched so many lives because she always saw the best in others. She had an energy and devotion toward her family that I can only hope to replicate with my own. I cherish the occasions my children manage to act like little saints because in those moments I see mom."
- Bill
"I've missed Mom terribly but she's always there, bolstering me when I've needed strength and shining through in times of joy and fun. Her gifts of love, faith, kindness, grace, wisdom, compassion and empathy continue to guide me, especially now as a mother myself. My understanding of the true value of her gifts grows with each passing year. Thank you, Mom."
- Mary Jo
"I think of Mom daily, which speaks to the tremendous impact she's had on my life. To me, Mom was goodness personified and she set the standard for how you treat people. Her example is one that I try to instill in my children so that her beautiful legacy can be carried on."
- Tom
"Mom was one of the rare ones whose sharp wit and great wisdom were matched only by her modesty and understated elegance. A person of faith, but never one to judge others, Mom showed me the immense joy and comfort that family provides. I cherish our time together and I miss her everyday.
- John
