It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful death of Anne Katerinich at St. Ann's Nursing Home on March 13, 2013 at age 86. Anne is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Michael and daughter, Diane Monette (Larry) of Saskatoon, granddaughter Carly Stein (Craig) of Yorkton and their precious children Bailey Anne, and Kaiden John. Anne also leaves to mourn her siblings; Sophie, Steve (Maureen), Henry (Irene), Martin (Mary), sisters-in-law Kay and Eugenia, brother-in-law Paul Katerynych as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Dmytro and Julia Sereda, and her siblings; Peter, Pauline, John, Metro and Bill. Prayers to be held at 7:00 p.m. (Rosary at 6:40) Sunday, March 17, 2013 at the Chapel of St. Volodymyr Villa (3110 Louise Place, Saskatoon). Divine Liturgy will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 18, 2013 at Ss. Peter & Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church (10th Street and Munroe Ave). Interment at Woodlawn Catholic Cemetery. The family wishes to express their appreciation and gratitude to all medical staff and health providers for the loving care provided Anne over the past two years. Memorial donations in Anne's honour may be made to Heart & Stroke Foundation of Saskatchewan (279 3rd Ave North S7K 2H8).
