LAKE, James Douglas
James Douglas Lake went to be with his Lord and Saviour on November 30, 2012. Jim will be forever missed by his wife Shelly and his "girl" Sheena. Also missing Jim are his mother Jenny, brother Jeff (Roslyn), Jaxon and Alex, his parents-in-law Dave and Gladys Wolf, two brothers-in-law and their children, extended family, friends, and co-workers. He was predeceased by his father Lorne, and his grandparents Wilfred and Olive Lake, and Joseph and Marie-Louise Brault. Jim was born April 30, 1953 in Prince Albert. He grew up and went to school in Saskatoon. He was a long-time employee at PCS Patience Lake where he loved his job as a pipe-fitter. Jim had many health problems in recent years, but enjoyed every moment he was able, especially vacations with his wife as they explored the province together, as well as time spent with family and with his church family. Special thanks to all the nurses and staff on the 4th floor at St. Paul's Hospital who looked after Jim during his lengthy stay. Also thanks to Jim's co-workers and retired co-workers for their thoughtfulness and visits, and to family and friends for their prayers and support during his illness. "I am the resurrection and the life: he who believes in Me shall live even if he dies." John 11: 25. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, December 7, 2012 at 1:00 pm at Fellowship Baptist Church, 905 Taylor St. E., Saskatoon, Sk. Arrangements entrusted to MARTENS WARMAN FUNERAL HOME (934-4888).
