Mary Wahl passed away on January 21, 2014 at the Spruce Manor Special Care Home in Dalmeny, SK. She was born in the Waldheim District on January 27, 1915 to Gerhard and Susan Enns. In 1933 she married Corney Wahl and together they had five children. During her married life she and her husband spent many winters in California, as well as travelling to many other places. As a widow she traveled with her children to places like the Maritimes, Florida and Hawaii. She was predeceased by her husband in 1989; by daughter Winnie who died in infancy; son George (a Saskatoon City Fire Fighter) in 1962; as well as 3 sons-in-law (Orest, Gordon and Len); 7 brothers and 5 sisters. She leaves to mourn her children, Roy (Nettie) Wahl and Beth Bell of Saskatoon; Ivan (Sharon) Wahl of Etobicoke, Ontario; twelve grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren, daughter-in-law Phyllis Holler of Arizona; sister-in-law Helen Ens of Saskatoon, and many nieces and nephews. A viewing will be held at Martens Warman Funeral Home, 402 Central St., W. Warman, SK. on Sunday, January 26th at 2:30 p.m. On what would have been her 99th birthday will instead be her Funeral Service at the Mount Royal Mennonite Church, 610 Ave. O North, Saskatoon, Sk. on Monday January 27th at 11:00 a.m. That is the church in which she was a charter member.
