RUTH BODRUG
January 9, 1920 - February 14, 2014
On Friday evening we lost Ruthie, a brilliant mum, friend, and a real gentle lady. Ruthie is survived by her kids: Brenda(Brian) and Bryan (Marilyn); grandchildren: Jakki (Mike), Trevor (Kristin), Kyle (Jocelyn); and great grandchildren: Anna, Joseph, and Logan. She was predeceased by her husband Joe (her Joedi), and son-in-law Ron Tataryn. Ruthie was a church school teacher that never met a kid she didn't love; she loved a lot of them in the 38 years she taught. Mum loved doing water colours but never considered herself an artist. Her pictures in our homes are a daily reminder of how talented she was. She truly saw the best in everyone she knew. She loved life and lived it to the fullest and will be truly missed. A special thank you to the staff on Ortho 3200 at City Hospital, who cared for mum with such kindness and compassion. A Memorial Service for Ruth will be held on Friday, February 21 at 1:00 p.m. from the Chapel of the Prairies - Circle Drive Alliance Church (3035 Preston Avenue South).
