Amanda ROUSELL Obituary
Amanda was born November 21, 1919 in Endiang, AB (near Hanna, AB), and passed away peacefully on June 14, 2014 at the Preston Extendicare Nursing Home in Saskatoon. Amanda was predeceased by her first husband, Emil Guze, her second husband, Rod Rousell, her son David, and her granddaughter Judy Rousell. She is survived by her children Donna (Arie) Smits, Ken (Dot) Guze, Stepchildren – Delcy (John) Marchand, Glen (Bev) Rousell, Keith (Barb) Rousell, Clint (Elaine) Rousell, Helen (Vernon) Summach, 22 grandchildren and 46 great-grandchildren. Memorial donations may be made to the CNIB at 1705 McKercher Drive, Saskatoon, SK S7H 5N6. Service of Remembrance will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. at Asquith Baptist Church, with Pastor Joshua Goetz officiating. Burial will take place at 11:00 a.m. at the Asquith Cemetery. If you wish to join the family for this time, please be at the church at 10:45 a.m. Thank you to the staff of Villa Royale and Preston Extendicare for the excellent care. Our thoughts and prayers to the family at the passing of my Aunt Amanda. I am so glad that my last conversation with her was at Christmas time. I have many wonderful memories of her, Uncle and my cousins while I was growing up, with many trips to Hanna to visit them and my grandparents. God bless you all.
