William Keith Rousell

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Keith Rousell at RUH at the age of 74 years. Keith was born in Perdue, Sk and lived his whole life on the farm at Asquith, SK. He is survived by his wife of 52 years Barbara (McLelland) Rousell; daughters Sherri (Greg) Thompson and Vicki (Perry) Quittenbaum; grandchildren Sarah (Jadon) Ward, Rachael Thompson, Andrew Thompson, Brittany Quittenbaum, Erica Quittenbaum, and Stephanie Quittenbaum; great-grandchildren Alexander Rodney and Ethan Rodney; his sisters Delcy (John) Marchand and Helen (Vernon) Summach; his brothers Glen (Bev) Rousell and Clint (Elaine) Rousel; brother-in- law Bill (Linda) McLelland and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his daughter Judy, parents Rod and Mona Rousell, stepmom Amanda Rousell, brother- in-law Wade Reinhardt and sister-in-law Pat McLelland. He completed his grade 12 in Asquith and attended Baptist Leadership Training School in Calgary for 9 months. Upon completion he came home to the farm, got married and raised his family on the same farm he grew up on. Keith was very active at Asquith Baptist Church both locally and regionally. He had a real passion for Christian camping and was chairman of The Quest at Christopher Lake Board for 12 years. The celebration of Keith's life will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at 1:30 p.m. at Asquith Baptist Church. Rev. Joshua Goetz will be officiating.
