EMELINE JUNE JUNOP
Wednesday, June 26, 1929 -
Thursday, May 30, 2013
June passed away peacefully on May 30, 2013 at the age of 83 years. She was predeceased by her devoted and loving husband of 60 years, Glenn; parents, Marion May (nee McCall) and Thomas Hand; father-in-law, Sam Junop; mother-in-law, Lola Junop; granddaughter, Shauna; siblings, Lola, Muriel, Tom and Bob Hand; siblings-in-law, Smitty (Everett) Smith, Jack Krivoshein, Frances and Carol Hand, Richard Junop; nephew, Tom Krivoshein. June is lovingly remembered and cherished by her sons, Doug (Bev), Duane, Kent (Pat); daughter, Lynn (Doug) McIntyre; grandchildren, Teresa (Ken) Shirley, Trent (Corry) Junop, Tammie (Rob) Myers, Jennifer, Mitchell and Mathew McIntyre, Michael, Brandon and Kylee Junop; great- grandchildren, Jessie, Jeff James, Ally and Abby Shirley, Camryn and Graeme Junop, George, Charlie and Anna Myers; sisters, Freda Smith, Irene Krivoshein, brother, Norm (Sylvia) Hand; siblings-in-law, Gerry (Gladys) Junop, Ray (Betty) Junop, Greeta Hogg; and numerous nieces and nephews. June grew up in the Feudal and Perdue areas. She completed teaching school in Saskatoon and then taught at the Douglas Plains School (near Asquith) and then in 1951 at the Avondale School (near Delisle). It was during this time she met and fell in love with Glenn. They were married and lived on the family farm and raised their family. They lived and farmed there until Glenn's passing in 2011. June soon after reluctantly moved to a senior's apartment in Delisle. Although farming was in her blood, her greatest love and priority was her family. Her delicious meals meant always leaving her home on a full stomach. Some of their favourite memories were of camping at Candle Lake with family and friends. Up until a few years ago she always planted a large garden; she always enjoyed discussing worthy news clippings, reading, visiting and sewing. The family thanks the staff at the Coronary Care Unit and the 6th floor of the Royal University Hospital for the exceptional care they gave Mom. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at Park Funeral Chapel, 311 Third Avenue North, Saskatoon, SK. To send online condolences visit, www.parkfuneral.ca "Obituaries & Tributes". Arrangements entrusted to Derryl Hildebrandt, Park Funeral Chapel, 306.244.2103.

Your mom was such a beautiful person with a warm smile, still see her and your dad quietly standing together at family gatherings greeting those around them with kind words and smiles that lit up the room. They were such a loving team and now they are together again. Deepest sympathy - Karen Heise
