Anne Marie Medjedovich
October 3, 1941 – April 9, 2014
Anne Marie passed away, Wednesday, April 9, 2014 in Saskatoon. She is survived by her daughter Lola, grandson Joseph Kay of Calgary, grandson Shane Andrew of Regina, brothers William (Annette) Konotopsky, Edward (Rita) Konotopsky, Paul (Judy) Konotopsky, and Oryst Konotopsky, brother and sister-in-law Mike and Lepa Milesic of Saskatoon. Also numerous nieces, nephews, friends and acquaintances at the lake, Persephone Theatre and the Saskatoon Food Bank. She was predeceased by her husband Bruno and son Alexander. Anne Marie worked at Canadian Revenue Agency (CRA) for 35 years and retired in 2000. Since her retirement from CRA, she volunteered at the Saskatoon Food Bank. Volunteered as Secretary – Treasurer for the Lac La Peche Cabin Owners Association for over 30 years. Volunteered at Persephone Theatre. Member of the Royal Purple of Saskatoon from January 24, 1984 till her death. She was very involved with the Royal Purple bingos. Member of the Nutana Lioness Club for many years and was very active with the Lions' Flea Market. Anne Marie very much enjoyed being an active contributing member in all the organisations she was part of and will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by everyone that knew her during her lifetime. A Service of Remembrance will be Thursday, April 17, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Saskatoon Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers and if you wish to make a donation of memoriam, please direct it to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada. Arrangements are entrusted to Westwood Funeral Chapel.
