Betty Auckland November 24, 1919 January 20, 2012 Betty Auckland, wife of the late Charlie Auckland, passed away at St. Paul's Hospital in Saskatoon at the age of 92. Betty was a teacher in England and became a war bride shortly after WWII, marrying Charlie and settling in the Gledhow area south of Saskatoon. After farming for many years, Betty and Charlie spent their winters in Southern Arizona, happily dancing away the bitter Saskatchewan weather. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 26, 2012, officiated by Rev. Amanda Currie at Park Funeral Chapel (311 Third Avenue North) followed by light refreshments.
