WALLACE, Betty Florence
August 2, 1947 - January 20, 2014
With much sadness we announce the passing of our beloved sister and aunt Betty Wallace on Monday, January 20. Betty will be lovingly remembered by her brothers Herbert, Norman, Ronald, and Allan John and her sisters-in-law Patricia (Herbert), Carmelle (Norman), and Maureen (Ronald) and her nieces and nephews Renee, Karl, Colin, and Nicole. Betty was predeceased by her father Robert, mother Florence, brothers James, Robert, Brian and sister Bonnie. Betty also has many lifelong friends who will miss her greatly. Betty loved books, birds, flowers and children. She worked as an educator for 30 years in Senlac, Tramping Lake, Kerrobert, Humboldt and mostly in Wakaw where she was known for her beautiful perennial gardens in which she dug, planted, read and watched the many birds. Betty was a talented quilter and shared many of her works of quilting art with family, friends and the Kidney Foundation raffles. The family would especially like to thank Dr. Kappel and the Dialysis Unit nurses and doctors, Dr. Linda Baker of Rosthern and the doctors and nurses at St. Paul's ICU for their compassionate care. There will be no service by request, but a celebration of Betty's life will be held by friends and family at WINDSOR CHAPEL at 704 Windsor Street (8th Ave. N. & Windsor Street, Saskatoon) on Saturday, February 8 at 1:30pm (program at 2:30). In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada - Saskatchewan Branch #1 - 2217 Hanselman Court, Saskatoon, SK S7L 6A8. Condolences may be sent in care of www.mourningglory.ca/
