ALLIN, Cary Lou (nee Stanley)
The Guest Book is expired.
Cary passed peacefully on Friday, June 8, 2012, surrounded with love. She was born June 27, 1953 in Kindersley, SK, to Murray and Mabel Stanley. Cary attended Westberry, McKenzie and Kindersley Composite Schools, where she made many of her life long friends. In 1970 she married Glen Allin and had three sons. Throughout the years Cary spent winters at the rink or in summers at the ball diamonds cheering on her sons and in later years her grandchildren's sporting events and activities. A very dedicated hockey mom, participating on the minor sports board or working shifts in the concession booth at the rink, Cary was also a very loyal fan of the Kindersley Sr. Klippers and of course the Roughriders. All this she did while working for many years in the meat department at Extra Foods. When she wasn't working or running off to the rink she loved nothing more than a cup or two of coffee and a card game with friends or camping at Grieg Lake and Cypress Hills, but above all there was a love no greater than that Cary had for her sons and family. She will be dearly missed by many. Predeceased by her father Murray Stanley and numerous family members she is survived by sons Doug (Patty), Emily and Brody, Darcy (Michelle), Bricen and Kaylee, Devin (Sarah), Austin and Cole, mother Mabel Stanley and brother Aaron (Ann) Stanley and large extended family. The family would like to sincerely thank the staff at Heritage Manor and Kindersley Hospital for their care and compassion to Cary and family, and to Marilyn & Ron Hamm for all of their love, help, and support. Memorial service to be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at St. Paul's United Church in Kindersley. Interment of ashes will take place at Kindersley Cemetery, with lunch to follow. Arrangements made by Kindersley Community Funeral Home. Donations in Cary's memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Canadian Lung Association.
