Charles (Charlie) Trask
February 18, 1927 - November 17, 2012
It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of our dear husband, father and grandfather. Charlie is fondly remembered by his wife of 63 years Hazel (Urton), his daughters Eileen (Mel) Wood, Joanne (Bob) McLeod, Charlene (Glen) Webster, Bev (Walter) Plessl, 11 grandchildren and many great grandchildren, his surviving sisters Carrie Prosser, Verna Smith and sister-in-law Ruby Mills. Dad choose the field of accounting for a career which lead him to positions with Federated Co-op, a partnership in Thompson Line Construction, management positions at the Co-op, Saskatchewan Forest Products and finished his career with the Federal Business Development Bank. He lived life to the fullest, spending summers at Emma Lake and later, winters in Mesa. Nothing gave him more pleasure than his time with grandchildren and games of cards with family and friends. He had a great sense of humour and there was always a practical joke waiting around the corner. A memorial reception will be held on Wednesday, November 21 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Edwards Family Centre, (333 4th Avenue N. in Saskatoon). Parking will be available at the Saskatoon Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Saskatchewan, (1405 Faulkner Cres., Saskatoon, SK, S7L-3R5)
Condolences may be sent to mail@saskatoonfuneralhome.com. Arrangements have been entrusted to Saskatoon Funeral Home.
