MAXWELL, Colin It is with profound sorrow that we provide notice of the death of Colin Maxwell, peacefully at home, after an arduous battle with cancer. Colin's life was one well lived. Born in Scotland, Colin moved to Saskatchewan with Cherry. Saskatchewan's wild spaces nurtured Colin's love for the outdoors and its many denizens. Teaching in Preeceville, Melville, and Spiritwood, and at the University of Regina, serving in municipal and provincial government, and running the Canadian Wildlife Federation were just some of the highlights. His family and friends will miss his generosity, his sense of fun, and his love. It was Colin's express wish that there be no funeral and no memorial service. We did not subscribe to any online memorial service. If you are considering sending flowers, please consider helping a local animal charity instead. Helping animals was one of Colin's keenest and most enduring passions. Thank you.
