SIEFFERT, Dorothy (Gooden)
August 20, 1933 - November 10, 2012
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Dorothy after a hard fought battle with cancer. Dorothy is predeceased by her parents, Frank and Mabel, sister Joan and nephew Jeff.
Dorothy leaves behind her two sons, Glenn (Tracy) and Don, grandsons Tyler and Justin, as well, many relatives and her very special friends from the Saskatoon Bridge Club who will all lovingly remember her.
Dorothy had many passions that sculpted and shaped her life. She was especially proud of her family, and grandchildren. Her home was always welcoming to her family and friends. She was creative and especially talented with her hands, whether it was knitting or sewing, or cooking the big family dinners that her family truly loved. Dorothy's passing will leave a large void in the lives of her children and their families. She will always be remembered in their thoughts and hearts.
The family would like to thank the staff of the Saskatoon Convalescent Home and St Pauls' Palliative Care Unit for the special care they provided to their Mom. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dorothy's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society (101-440 2nd Ave. N, Saskatoon, S7K 2C3).
A celebration of Dorothy's life will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, November 16, 2012 at Hillcrest Funeral Home (east on 8th St., first right past Briargate Road). Online condolences may be sent from Arrangements entrusted to Megan Kasper.
God has another angel to serve Him.
