EUPHEMIA ALEXANDER BISHOP
Euphemia of Saskatoon, passed away at Extendicare Nursing Home on Thursday, September 13th, 2012 at the age of 95. She now joins her husband in their Lord's presence. She is remembered by her daughter, Linda (Eldred) Fast; grandchildren, Tracey (Rob) Schmeichel, Shannon (Clark) Bymoen, Jason (Jennifer) Michalycia; two great-grandchildren, Connor and Madison Bymoen; sister-in-law, Hazel Ross and numerous nieces and nephews. Euphemia was born in Wick, Caithness Scotland, February 18, 1917. Her family immigrated to Canada in the Boharm district. She met and married Victor John Bishop in 1935. They moved to Saskatoon and together they raised two children. Euphemia, had numerous jobs including RUH Dietary, Mount Royal Collegiate, Holy Cross Collegiate and E.D. Fehan cafeterias. Upon retirement she went to U of S taking a seniors teaching seniors course. She enjoyed travelling, baking, crafting and watching grandchildren and great-grandchildren grow. Euphemia was a loyal, fun loving prankster, who loved to laugh and give a helping hand. She will be remembered fondly by all who knew her. A Celebration of Euphemia's life will be held on Friday, September 21st at 1:00 p.m. in Elim Church (419 Slimmond Rd).
