Eva Margaret Quintaine (nee Frehlich)
Eva passed away on Sunday, November 25th, with her family at her side. Her strong faith eased her courageous battle with cancer. Eva was born on May 4th, 1933 in Kerrobert, SK. She lived in the Tramping Lake area until the age of 18 at which time she moved to Saskatoon where she resided until her passing. There she met Floyd Quintaine and they were married on October 9, 1954. Eva was employed as a secretary with various companies in Saskatoon and with the Co- operative College of Canada for almost 25 years before she retired in 1989. Eva was predeceased by her parents; seven brothers; three sisters; her infant son, Sheldon; and granddaughter, Charlene. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Floyd; her children, Laurie (Ted), Gail (Orville), Sharon (Jerry), Randy (Bonnie), Patti, Sheila, Michele (Brad), Barb (Paul); her grandchildren, Lee (Kathy), Kim, Nicole (Mark), Dawn (Curt), April, Dustin, Elisha (Lyndon), Tye, Natasha, Matthew, Kayla, Stephanie (Paul Daniel), Tanzley, Jade, Jessica; her great- grandchildren, Mykoh, Rogan, Takeshia, Hailey, Aiden, and Trysten; her sisters, Agnes and Christina; brother, Adam (Dorothy) and sisters-in-law; Betty and Annie. Eva will be greatly missed by all of them. Among many things, Eva enjoyed reading, sewing, crocheting, knitting, and gardening. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family; husband, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many extended family and friends. The service will be for immediate family only, as requested by Eva and will be held at the Cathedral of the Holy Family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
