To Dolores and all the family---my sincere sympathy and love goes out to you all at the passing of one great lady. She accomplished so much, but my memories are those special visits to her home at Muskeg in '59 and thru the '60s...the giggle and laughter that greeted me , no matter what the situation. God keep you all and your families..you were and always will be special too.

If flowers grow in Heaven Lord, then pick a bunch for me. Place them in my Mother's arms and tell her they are from me. Tell her that I love her and I miss her too, and when she turns to smile place a kiss upon her cheek and hold her for awhile...We miss her and love her so much. I know that prayer and faith will help us feel the comfort she provided for so many years.

Although no words can really help to ease the loss you bear, just know that you are very close in every thought and prayer.

My deepest sympathies to the Greyeyes/Ahenakew families. Freda was my cousin and one of the sweetest ladies I have had the pleasure of knowing. She will be missed but will always be loved by her family and friends. Rest in peace.

Our deepest sympathies to all the Greyeyes children. Cousin Freda, that's what I grew up calling her, was a lady I remember who was always laughing whenever we came to the house. I hope that remembering her laughter and warmth provides a source of comfort for all the people that she leaves behind! Sincerely,
Carleen, Mike, Benjamin and Jessica

I was so sorry to read of Dr. Ahenakew's passing. She was able to accomplish so much in the field of education. For her work our province owes a debt of gratitude. Freda knew how to balance her work and her family with kindness and a good dose of humour.
The education community has lost a trail blazer and a good friend.
Please accept my deepest sympathy.
